Our House

I'm a little slow getting these pictures up!
A couple of weeks ago we were able to meet out at our site and start working on stuff for our house!! Yay! We met with our contractor, Jamon, and went over a bunch of stuff. Mostly about what is going to happen. We split into groups and part of us made signs for our house (so people will know where to bring supplies and such) and the others started on the electrical panels with dad. I'm glad he gets to do this with us!

I opted for the sign making. Besides my handwriting is better than Ryan's!!!

Part of our sign making group!

Here I am! We are also in the same group as Garrett's sister, Adrienne, (on the left) and her husband Justin. We are SO glad we're in the same group!!!

P.S. I took some of these pictures from Adrienne's blog! Thanks Adrienne for taking such great pictures!

Are we excited? I think so!

I think this is just about everyone. We also made these boards for our electrical panels to hang on. I even used a drill! I was so proud of myself!! I prefer to leave that stuff up to Ryan, but I'm not going to be able to get away with that here!

Here is our finished sign! And our cute little Ava of course!

We also learned that night that they would start digging holes for foundations that same week. They started with three holes to prevent water damage and fun stuff like that. We just happened to be on the side of the street that they started on.

Here is our hole!!

And here it is again. We are so excited to be able to be in this program! We can't wait to really get started and build ourselves a house!

That takes me back!!! You guys are going to have so much fun. It's a TON of work, but it's sooo nice to have a house when you finish.
