Welcome Home!!

Our little Ava finally got to come home Thursday night! She is our little fighter! Since she was put in the NICU she has only progressed every day! She recovered a lot faster than we had originally thought! Both mom and baby are doing really well! We are super grateful for everyones thoughts and prayers!
She is so sweet!
Carter loves to hold Ava! He is so good with her! Both boys were pretty excited to get to come and finally hold her. They weren't allowed into the hospital because of the flu season so they missed out the first time they were up here!
Isaac loves to hold the baby too. I was upstairs feeding her and Isaac came in and asked me if he could wash his hands. I told him to use the bathroom sink. So a couple minutes later he came back in with his clean hands and asked me if he could "pet the baby!" It was so cute! He is so sweet with her!
Marissa, Levi, and Finn came up to visit us on Satruday!

Hello world!

Look how sad all those wires and cords are!!

Mom and Dad think I'm beautiful!

Look at how much hair I have!

I was listening really good to my mom!

My dad and I were having a good nap!

Look how pretty I am!!

I had a rough start! I started out with some fluid in my right lung. My mom had a fever while she was delivering me. My heart rate dropped about the last 5 minutes of delivery. They had to put me on a cpap for a while. But I started doing so good, they took me off the cpap and put me on a high oxygen flow tube. They have also been giving me antibiotics. I started doing so good they took me off the high oxygen flow tube. Yesterday (9-21-09) my crp levels were at a 4. It has to be below 1 to get to go home. Today (9-22-09) my crp levels are at 1.4!! My mom and dad are so proud of me! I might get to go home tomorrow or Thursday morning! My mom and dad are very anxious for me to come home! My culture hasn't been growing anything, which means that if I did have an infection it didn't go to my blood stream! I'm starting to eat pretty good too!! I can't wait to go home!

Ava's room...again!

Here are the frames my mom and I put together! Mom put fabric on the backs of the frames, but forgot them at home when they came up to visit! It looks good without them, but we want to see what they look like with the backs!
Here are the frames and her dresser... We moved the dresser to the other side of the room.
My mom made this valance for the window to add some color to her room! I think she did a great job!
P.S. More posts below!!

Bathroom!

Before: I didn't get a picture before they started tearing up the bathroom, so this is a picture of it before we even moved in! It's the best I had!

After: My dad got us some tile so we could do both our bathrooms! This is the upstairs bathroom! I think it turned out really good! They both worked really hard. The only sad thing is that Ryan and I ended up in the emergency room that night, because he wasn't wearing safety goggles while cutting the tile! But thats a story for another day!! Thanks Dad and Ryan for your hard work!! It looks great!

New Couches!!

Before: Don't worry, we had a cover so it wouldn't scare people!!

After: Our new super comfy, super awesome new love seat! We also have a sofa to match!
