A Day in the Life of Ava

Here are some fun pictures my mom has taken over the last few weeks.

I like to play in my mom and dads laundry hamper!

I also like to eat my blanket when my mom doesn't get me up from my nap fast enough!

I like to hide under the chairs!

I like to crawl around with toys in my mouth. (Or sit in my highchair!!)

I LOVE to sneak up the stairs when I think mom isn't watching!!

I've been able to walk around pretty good for about a week!!

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

We can hardly believe its that time of year again. Here are some highlights of the past 3 years! (And I'm sure they are probably not in the right order either!!)

I think this was taken after we were engaged. I think we had been to the temple for Ryan's branch.

Happy Wedding Day!

This was our first anniversary. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn. This was the Swiss Family Robinson room. Sounds kind of cheesy but it was pretty cool.

...To here!! Yay!!

Yes that is a for sale sign. We took these pics before we moved in. I didn't feel like walking outside to take new ones...

The day after we moved into our townhouse we headed up to go on the wagon train. Here's before...

I became an "expectant mother!"

For our second anniversary we couldn't really leave Logan because I was about 8 months pregnant. Ryan was so sweet and got me a massage. It was the best thing he could have done for me! (And don't worry she was really careful so I wouldn't go into labor!!) We stayed at Seasons at the Riter Manson. Ryan was so sweet and humored me and let me watch Twilight.

We gladly welcomed our sweet Ava into our family!!

She's the best highlight of our 3 years!!

Last and most recent, Ryan is going to state for the bus rodeo. (We go to St. George September 17th.) We're excited to get to go.

Favorite Pastimes

These are a few of the things Ava likes to do.

(Pictures may be blurry. They are from my phone.)

First and foremost, get into things she shouldn't. (As most kids do!) I turned my head for 5 seconds and she manages to get the memory card for the playstation… Oops.

Sit in the little space meant just for her under the entertainment center. And play with her pink dog.

Go grocery shopping with mom and dad. AND sit (or lounge) in the cart like a big girl!! (Makes mom and dad happy too!)

Play on/in things that aren't really toys. But that's half the fun of it!

Drink her bottles or eat pretty much any food. And play with her booger sucker.

And last but definitely not least, pick her nose!! I find her finger up there about 90% of the time!!

This is one of the things Ava does NOT like to do…

We took Ava swimming for the first time with Tim, Heather, Audrey, and Caleb. Ava did not find this fun at all. I hadn't gotten in the pool with them so Ryan took her. These aren't the best pictures because I forgot the camera at home. But she cried and cried anytime Ryan put her in the water or got close to putting her in!

So I ended up holding her most of the time! She was pretty mad at Ryan. She wouldn't have anything to do with him for pretty much the rest of the night! Although she did smile for him just before bed!! I guess this means we need to go swimming more often!!

A while back when Amy had her reception in Vernal we did family pictures with Ryan's family. I don't have any of those otherwise I'd post some. But afterwards Amanda took some pictures of our little family!!

This was taken on Memorial Day. We had been in the car all morning so I hadn't even bothered doing Ava's hair. And she was tired, hence the look on her face...
