Willow Park Zoo

We've been going for walks lately. Yesterday we thought we'd walk down the Willow Park Zoo. She realized there is a little window that she could see me through! These are the pics we got at the zoo!

I don't remember what kind of "bird" this is but it has lots of fun colors!

Ava after we got home! She LOVES to go for walks in her stroller! She is always so good! She didn't love the walk home as much because she was getting hungry. She was really good the rest of the time!! She was not smiling before I got the camera out!!

We saw lots of other fun animals like a bobcat, a boa constrictor, an albino porcupine, a rock chuck, and lots of different kinds of birds!! It was a pretty fun little zoo!!

Bus Rodeo

So as most of you know, Ryan still works for Cache Valley Transit District, (or CVTD for short... Lots easier to say!!) driving bus! Every year they do a Bus Rodeo. They compete against each other in various different.. things... I don't know all the specifics, so you can ask Ryan if you want more details!! If you place 1st through 4th you get to go to State. If you place at state you get to go to Nationals. Well this year Ryan got 4th place!!! So this means that in a couple months we will get to go to St. George and Ryan will compete there!! He didn't think he did that great, but turns out he did!! Ava and I are very proud of him!!

I tried to find a picture of one of the buses. I couldn't find one, and I didn't feel like going out just to take a picture of one!! So the best we get is a bus stop!!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

Ava and Mom!! She is such a sweet girl and I'm so glad I get to be her mom!! She has been such a joy in our lives!! We love you, Ava!!

I love her smiles!!

As sad as it is, I've been using laundry baskets full of laundry as a baby gate between the kitchen and living room... She thought it would be fun to eat dads socks... Gross! But at least they were clean!!

Here are a few things about Ava!!

1: She loves her mom and dad.

2: She loves tv.

3: She LOVES to jump and jump and jump a little more.

4: She loves other kids.

5: She likes her bath, but not getting dried off and dressed. (We have to have dads help...)

6: She loves to eat her cereal!

7: SHE FINALLY HAS HER FIRST TOOTH!!!! It's not all the way in but its through her gums at least!! Thank goodness! She's been a little cranky lately!!

Ava can sort of sit up now. She can't get herself up yet, but if we sit her up she can stay that way for a while! She LOVES it!
