Sounds of Ava

My sweet little Ava has been talking to us a lot more lately! I finally caught it today!! She gets really distracted by the camera so its been kind of hard! I've been meaning to catch her when Ryan is home because she LOVES to talk to her daddy! I think she gets tired seeing me all day so she has big smiles and sweet stories when her dad comes home!! She also rolled from her tummy to her back the other day. We were laying on the bed having tummy time and she even rolled away from me!! We were pretty excited! I don't know if she really knew what she was doing but it was super fun!! She has also been so close to laughing!! Its so much fun! Anyways, this video isn't the best for seeing her face but she talks pretty good!!

I like to sleep just about anywhere but my own bed! Except at night! I sleep really good in my bed at night!

Mom's little Houdini

We have these swaddle blankets that we use for bedtime and sometimes when I pick her up after a nap or at night she will have kicked enough that she's gotten her feet out of the bottom part of the blanket. Well this morning this is what I found.....

Yep... She managed to get her foot out of her pajamas!!

Silly girl!! I had Ryan get out of bed so he could see it too!! It was just to funny! (Don't worry he was getting ready to get up to go to work anyway!) We both had a good laugh!

This is on our way up to Oregon! I love her little hands!

Ava's Blessing Day

Here are our Halloween pictures! My family was up on Saturday so Mom, Ann, Heidi, and Kaitlynn took the kids trick or treating on main street. They all had fun dressing up! Miss Ava skipped out on trick or treating this year! We stayed at home where it was nice and warm!

Welcome Home!!

Our little Ava finally got to come home Thursday night! She is our little fighter! Since she was put in the NICU she has only progressed every day! She recovered a lot faster than we had originally thought! Both mom and baby are doing really well! We are super grateful for everyones thoughts and prayers!

She is so sweet!

Carter loves to hold Ava! He is so good with her! Both boys were pretty excited to get to come and finally hold her. They weren't allowed into the hospital because of the flu season so they missed out the first time they were up here!

Isaac loves to hold the baby too. I was upstairs feeding her and Isaac came in and asked me if he could wash his hands. I told him to use the bathroom sink. So a couple minutes later he came back in with his clean hands and asked me if he could "pet the baby!" It was so cute! He is so sweet with her!

Marissa, Levi, and Finn came up to visit us on Satruday!
