A Few Funny Things!

I've been really bad about taking pictures lately! But here's a few! Ava is such a funny little girl sometimes! As most kids do, she likes to find "new" things to play with. Especially since we've brought some of the rest of our things from Logan!

We did gingerbread houses at my mom's yesterday. I also forgot my camera… So I need to get pics from mom then I can put them up!

It's official. We are no longer home owners. I'm trying not to dwell on that fact too much. (And yet I post about it… I want to be able to look back later and remember how much we loved it there!) So this last weekend we moved the rest of our stuff out and signed the papers. It was a really great weekend but also a really hard one. And for starters I just wanted to apologize to those we didn't get a chance to visit. It was a really fast weekend and didn't have time to squeeze everyone in. Just remember how much we love and miss you all!!

It was fun being able to stay in our house one last time before it was sold. We were able to spend time with our wonderful neighbors/friends. (Thanks again for all you guys have done for us!! And for letting us hang out while the dads did all the hard work!)

Ava was able to play with her friend, Maggie, again! They had such a blast!! They even bathed together!

Ava thought it was so great getting to have a bath again! Not to mention all the cool bath toys she got to play with!

If you look close enough you can see that Ava has her arm around Maggie's shoulders! (I also forgot my camera at home… so these are once again cell phone pics!)

When we were trying to leave on Monday night, both girls REFUSED to hug each other. They knew what was going on! It was kind of sad. They eventually did give each other a little hug.

We are so grateful to have made such wonderful friends while we were there! We love and miss all of you!

Leaf Princess!

Last Saturday Ava and I helped Grandma Linda rake leaves in the backyard while Daddy worked on the shed!

Ava LOVED jumping in the leaves!! Every time I would make a pile she would come sit right in the middle of it! She was a great little helper!

Stacy!

My good friend, Stacy, was able to come down and visit for a day!!! It was so great to have her here!! Ever since we moved back to Vernal we have missed her and all our other friends like crazy!! So it was super awesome to have her come!!

After dinner Ryan and I took Stacy and her husband, Luke, to Farr's. I love that place… a little too much, maybe. So I was excited to take them there!

So I thought I had a picture of Luke and Stacy together. But I guess I don't! But it was so fun having them here! I felt spoiled getting to have Stacy here all day! We can't wait to see everyone again soon!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Ava!!

I can hardly believe it's been another year!! This last Monday (the 19th) our baby girl, who is not so much a baby anymore, turned 2!! We had a really fun day with her! We started the day off by opening some of her presents.

She was pretty excited!

I had been at my moms house making her birthday cake and Isaac says to me "I want to go to your house and play with Ava, since it's her birthday." He's so cute! He loves to come play with Ava all the time! Even when it's not her birthday!

One last present! It was some clothes, a coloring book, and some paints. She got a bunch of fun new toys and clothes! She had a pretty good birthday!

A Quick Post!

It's been a while since I posted. So here are a few things we've been up to!

We've been getting ready to move. (That's been a long process to start with!)

We've been trying to spend as much time with our friends as possible! (We miss you!!)

We had lots of fun at Cousin Camp!

We've moved and have been settling in. Ava seems pretty relaxed! She had a hard first few days but has been doing better! It helps that she gets to see her cousins a lot!!! She loves to play with them!

She loves her pop tarts, Honey Joe, and The Princess and the Frog!! She also loves climbing all over our boxes!!

Family Pictures!

We did family pictures last week! My friend, Liz, did them for us. She does an amazing job! So when I get a disc of pics from her I will post some of my favorites!! The picture at the top is just a little preview!! So be excited! I am!! And sorry that the border is lame. I actually got the words to show up this time so I kind of don't dare mess with it!!

Chocolate Cola Cake

Ok, so normally I don't post recipes. But this one was AMAZING!! I was on pinterest.com today. (Thanks Steph!) Someone had posted this awesome recipe. Chocolate Cola Cake. Enough said. You can find the recipe here.

Mine didn't turn out as pretty as this picture. But it was so tasty! It was so moist and so rich. And the best part? It was so EASY!!!! Yum. It's definitely not the healthiest cake, but it's SO delicious!! Anyways, I can't post without at least one picture of Ava.

I think this was taken back in May. But I love how she climbs onto the couch and into the corner. She LOVES putting a blanket or a pillow, sometimes two, on her lap. Way to cute, Ava!
