First doctors visit!

OK! Since this isn't going to work the way I want it to I will have to do it this way! I went to the Dr. yesterday for my first visit! We were pretty excited to go in! I am 11 weeks and 6 days as of today (3/3/09) and I'm hoping the morning sickness goes away around 12 weeks! I'd be ok with that! My due date is September 18th now. (Alright! A whole day earlier than what they told me before!!!) And I got to have them draw my blood for lab work of course. That definitely was my least favorite part! But as you can see we got to have an ultrasound. Dr. Olsen wanted to make sure the baby was doing ok and also to really know how far along I am! In the first picture its head is on the left side. You can see its little hands!! The second and third pictures are just really good profile pics! You can see its nose and chin! And you can even see its legs a little better! It was also moving around A LOT!! Dr. Olsen said to me "I'm holding still and so are you! That's all the baby!" And he also showed us its heart beat! It was so great! Ryan really enjoyed it too! I think its all really starting to sink for him that we are actually going to be parents! It was fun to watch his face!!! But thats our little nugget!

Happy Birthday to ME!

OK, so my birthday was like 2 weeks ago but I wanted to post a little bit about it anyway! Ryan took me to Maddox so I could have a really tasty steak! And it was really tasty! We both really enjoyed our dinner! It was also kind of funny because at each table in the same room as us, was someones birthday! There were like four other tables! We had to laugh every time someone would say something cheesy like "How about some dessert for the birthday girl!" Ryan knows better than to say stuff like that to the waiters!! :) But shortly after we got home Ryan had to go to a safety meeting so I went to bed! When he got home he had bought some flowers and gotten a card for me! Thanks, Ryan!! So overall it was a really good day! And thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! (Whether it be a text message or a phone call!!) Here are some pictures of the flowers Ryan got for me! Ok so I did this a little backwards and did the words first when I meant to do the pictures!! A morning with Gwen!

Last weekend Gwen was heading up to Rexburg, and stopped to stay in Logan for the night. Well it was late enough that we didn't get to really hang out at all. So we opted for breakfast the next morning. We decided on IHOP, which is always good! And it was nice because I have a very large appetite these days! And of course we had to have a picture. That's just the way it goes! Unfortunately, I didn't have the camera on me so Gwen was nice enough to e-mail this one to me! Thanks, Gwen!
