Ok, so May has been quite a busy month for us. We started it off with Lila's baby blessing!! It was so great getting to see my whole family! Then we kicked the week off with a sick baby. We have been SO lucky. Ava hasn't been sick (aside from a cold or something) since she was first born and spent her first few days in the NICU. I count that as a blessing!! Well she was sick enough that she wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with her daddy. We all know how much she LOVES her dad!! It was kind of sad. She had a fever and in the middle of the week decided to throw up a few times. (Thank goodness dad was home to help clean up the mess… Mom can do poop and boogers and spit up, but not so much puke. I would if I had too, but since Ryan was home!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, BABE!!!) She didn't really eat. She would drink milk, but that's what made her puke, so she would get really mad when I wouldn't give her any. Sad baby! Mom felt really really bad!! But we could do water.

She napped on me most of the day. She did good in her crib at night though. Thank goodness!
She'd fall asleep within minutes of getting in the car.
By the end of the week she started doing better. At this point she had started an antibiotic for a very mild ear infection… I'm glad she was feeling better. I had a MILLION things I needed to be doing all week so I could go home to be "Grandma/Mom" for almost two weeks so that she could go here
with Grandma Lila. They went to Pismo Beach, California. They had a great time!! Marissa, Finn, and baby Lila got to come spend the first week with us while Levi went to Rhode Island for some training. I'm so glad they got to come!! It made my week easier! The kids even played nice most of the time!

We had a crazy/stressful but really good time while we were there. But everyone was SUPER happy when Grandma came home!! I'm really glad I could go do that so Mom and Grandma could go to Cali.
Friday afternoon Kait drove us back up to Salt Lake. Ava and I stayed with Marissa and Levi (thanks so much again guys!!) that night.

Ryan drove down Saturday morning and we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple with Ryan's family and did a session there. Then we went to lunch, drove back to Marissa's to get Ava, then over to Dave's parents where they blessed, Clara. We had a really busy but fun day. Afterwards Marissa and I were able to run over to Kohl's and do a little bit of shopping! We had tons of fun! Then we drove back up to Logan!!
We've had a really lazy week or so, but we are SO glad to be home!!

Awww.. poor baby :(.. i hate it when they get sick.. its so so so sad and they don't understand.. Sounds like you have been having lots of fun!!. .i too love her hair in the pic and her hanging her bottle out of her mouth thats so cute!.. she's such a cutie pie!

Poor Ava! I hate it when my baby is sick. We totally should have let Kylie and Ava play when your mom and grandma were in Cali. Next time. Love you guys!!

I love seeing all these pictures!! Poor sweet sick Ava!! I love the picture with Honey Joe. Hey, he works to comfort the mom, so why not Ava? She is growing up! I love that last picture with her hair all curly with the cute flower clipie. What a cute mama you are! I loved getting to spend time with you and Ava this last month. What fun!
