So we were in St. George for Ava's birthday this weekend. We stayed with Newt and Mandy while we were there. On Saturday we had birthday cake for Ava. Here's what she thought!!
Daddy helped her blow out the candle.
Then she dumped it on herself!
"Oh this is fun to play in!"
"Get it off me please!"
(She had started flipping her hand trying to get the cake off!!)
"Let me out of here!!"
She looks like she's smiling but she was getting pretty mad!
"Can I have the camera instead?"
She had cake all up her arm, all over her face, and in her hair! Good job Ava!
It's not very age appropriate but we got her a barbie. She loves it! She also got that pink bus from Grandma and Grandpa Winn. (It's in the background. She LOVES playing with it!) She also got a few other things but we left them at home!!
"Get it out of there!!"
It took Ryan, Newt, and myself to get Sophie out of her box!!
On the ride home.
She was not super happy about being in the car again.
Oh but there's a smile!!
Here are a few things about Ava:
* She loves to play peek-a-boo or where's Ava.
* Sometimes she gives us squeeze hugs. (Which I LOVE!)
* She gives hugs and kisses when asked.
* She loves being tickled.
* She likes to sit in my lap and play.
* She is so sweet and happy all the time. (Even when she's teething.)
She is such a great blessing in our home and we love her so much!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
I will post about the bus rodeo later. I have a bunch of pictures that I'm behind on, but I wanted to get her birthday up first! Thanks again Newt and Mandy for a great weekend!!

Happy Birthday, Ava! Great pictures. Carter didn't like his first b-day cake smeared on him either. I like that doll so much better than the one she played with here:}

Happy Birthday Ava!! I can't believe she is already 1!!! I remember when you got pregnant! Time flies! She is so adorable! I bought my girl a barbie on her first birthday too! ;) I think it's almost more fun for us moms than the baby! :)

We had so much fun with you guys! Ava is the happiest baby I have ever met and such a CUTIE! We are already looking forward to spring break!
